Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information obsdeck collects through this website, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Effective and last updated: July 17, 2026
1. Scope
This policy applies to personal information collected through obsdeck.com and messages you choose to send to the email addresses published on this site. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy notices.
2. Notice at collection
We may collect the following categories of personal information for the purposes described below:
- Identifiers, such as your email address, IP address, and online identifiers, to respond to requests, deliver and secure the site, and troubleshoot problems.
- Professional or employment-related information that you include in a job application, to evaluate and communicate about employment opportunities.
- Internet or other electronic network activity, such as browser type, requested page, and request time, to operate, protect, and diagnose the site.
No sale or targeted-advertising sharing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law.
We retain each category only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, security, and recordkeeping needs. Please do not send sensitive personal information through this website or by email.
3. Information you provide
Waitlist, demo, and general inquiries
The waitlist form does not transmit information directly to our website. It opens your device's email application with a drafted message. If you choose to send that message, we receive your email address and anything else you include. We use it to respond to your request and provide relevant product updates.
Job applications
Career links open your email application. If you apply, we receive the contact, professional, and employment information you choose to include. We use it to evaluate your application, communicate with you, and maintain appropriate recruiting records.
4. Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security providers may automatically process limited request data, including IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, and date and time. This information is used to deliver the site, maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical issues.
This site does not currently use advertising pixels or analytics tags. CookieConsent interface files are delivered by jsDelivr, which may process limited request data such as your IP address and browser information to deliver and secure those files.
5. Cookies and privacy choices
We use one strictly necessary first-party cookie named obsdeck_privacy. It records that you responded to the privacy notice, the necessary category, and the notice revision so we do not show the popup on every visit. It expires after 180 days and is not used for analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking.
You can review the current details or renew your choice at any time by selecting .
If we add any optional cookies or similar technologies, we will update this notice and request consent where required before activating them.
6. How we disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers that support website hosting, security, and email, subject to appropriate restrictions.
- Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or enforce our agreements.
- Parties to a business transaction in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the site. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason it was collected.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. California Do Not Track disclosures
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting that signal, this site's operation does not change when it receives one. However, this site does not currently track visitors across third-party websites or use personal information for targeted advertising.
Where legally required, we treat a recognized Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing. Because we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, there is no additional action needed for this site.
9. California privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies to obsdeck, you may have the right to request access to or a copy of your personal information, correction, deletion, or information about our collection and disclosure practices. You may also have the right to opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service and pricing after exercising your rights.
To submit a request, email privacy@obsdeck.com and describe the right you want to exercise. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law; we may request proof of authorization.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
obsdeck does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If you believe information has been handled inconsistently with this statement, email privacy@obsdeck.com.
Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information
obsdeck does not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the site or by email. Questions or requests may be sent to privacy@obsdeck.com.
10. Children's privacy
This business-to-business site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
